Hamlet.Center :: Geogrph. Wonders
Below are the grounds of the descendant of Hamlet’s Kronborg Castle*(green)
on the tip of the point nearest Sweden across the Øresund strait.
(The railyard for trains waiting to ferry across the strait to Helsingbørg Sweden
is evident along the north side of the yellow E47 highway terminus where road traffic waits.)
*The castle’s web site also hosts its summer Shakespeare festival info.

This satellite image reveals the castle’s four sides surrounding the label castle inside the square courtyard.
The tallest tower’s height is evident via the shadow it casts from the middle of the south wall
almost all the way across the courtyard.
